True Summer Makeup Kit
In this post I’m giving you a peek into my professional makeup kit, at all the products I use for my True Summer clients.
I also show you how to create custom palettes and eye looks using these products.
Enjoy!
Products
Eyeshadow
Top row: Peacock, Greystone, Blue Grey, Cinderella Blue, Royal Purple
Bottom row: Dragonfly, Tiny Tangerines, Slay-Farer, Trumpeter Koel, Beam Me Up, Chit Chat
Ben Nye Blue Grey, Cinderella Blue, Greystone, Peacock, Royal Purple
Colour Pop Beam Me Up, Slay-Farer, Tiny Tangerines
Makeup Geek Chit Chat, Dragonfly
Rouge Bunny Rouge Trumpeter Koel
These eyeshadows all come in tin pans that can be put into a magnetic palette. The Makeup Geek, Colour Pop and Rouge Bunny Rouge shadows will all fit in 26mm wells, and the Ben Nye shadows will fit in 37mm wells. They’ll all, obviously, fit in a freestyle magnetic palette.
The Ben Nye shadows can be used both wet and dry – applying with a damp brush is especially useful when using a shadow as an eyeliner.
This is a good range of mattes and shimmers, neutrals and accent colours, light to dark. There’s no matte highlight, but Beam Me up is a lovely silver which can be used as an inner corner highlight or lid colour.
The shadows I use on clients most frequently are Blue Grey and Greystone. I use Greystone through the brows.

These blushes all come in tin pans that can be put into a magnetic palette. All the La Femme blushes will fit in 37mm wells.

Eye Looks
I used the 3ina mascara in #101 for all the looks below, and Greystone eyeshadow applied lightly through the brow.
These first three looks are simple, easy and wearable. They use 1, 2 or 3 eyeshadows, so it’s up to you how much or how little you want to do.
These next three are still quite simple to create, but offer more colour and drama.
And that’s it! Happy makeup-ing to all the beautiful True Summers out there.
