Bright Spring Makeup Kit

In this post I’m giving you a peek into my professional makeup kit, at all the products I use for my Bright Spring clients.

I also show you how to create custom palettes and eye looks using these products.

Enjoy!

Products

Makeup Geek I'm Peachless , Summer Lovin

These eyeshadows all come in tin pans that can be put into a magnetic palette. The Colour Pop and Makeup Geek shadows will fit in 26mm wells, and the Ben Nye shadows will fit in 37mm wells. They’ll all, obviously, fit in a freestyle magnetic palette.

The Ben Nye shadows can be used both wet and dry – applying with a damp brush is useful for intensifying colour and shine, and for eyeliner.

As you can see I have a reasonably large Bright Spring eyeshadow collection, but there’s rather a shortage of matte neutrals here. I’ve tried, but I simply haven’t found them (yet).

However, there are plenty of neutral highlight shades, as well as a shimmery neutral in Bashful. And for Bright Springs, the peachy and corally shades can read as quite natural, because they have a similar tone to skin, just more saturated.

The shadows I use on clients most frequently are Vanilla, I’m Peachless, Summer Lovin, and Bashful.

Mascara

Mascara for Bright Spring would ideally be in the warm charcoal from your palette, but again, I haven’t found one yet. Until I do, I use any black mascara.

Blush

Orange Zest, Blood Orange, Pink, Pink Velvet, Pink Pop

Ben Nye Orange Zest, Blood Orange, Pink Pop

La Femme Pink, Pink Velvet

These blushes all come in tin pans that can be put into a magnetic palette, and will all fit in 37mm wells.

Lipstick

Corail Décolleté, Impassioned, Coral Crush

MAC Impassioned

Givenchy Corail Décolleté

Maybelline Coral Crush

Eye Looks

The mascara I used in all of the looks below is Clinique Lash Power in Black Onyx.

Our first three looks are simple, easy and wearable. They use 1, 2 or 3 eyeshadows, so it’s up to you how much or how little you want to do.

The next three looks are more colourful, but the first two are still simple to do. The last is a more dramatic look, for the makeup lover who wants to make an impact!

And that’s it! Happy makeup-ing to all the beautiful Bright Springs out there.
